Pair of earthenware candlesticks by Faïencerie de Gien, sign - Lot 21
Pair of earthenware candlesticks by Faïencerie de Gien, signed. Elegant pair of two-light earthenware candlesticks, resting on a flared pedestal. The slightly curved arms are joined by a central leafy motif in relief. The polychrome decoration, on a deep midnight-blue background, is enhanced by foliage, florets and gilded fillets in a neo-Renaissance/Art Deco style typical of Gien production. The bobèches are highlighted with honey-brown enamel. A handsome decorative pair, combining refinement of decoration with a beautiful ornamental presence, ideal for a table or mantelpiece. 📢 Voluntary sale - Selling expenses in addition: 20% incl. VAT
